The Monsignor Paul Dwyer Alumni group began its first annual Fridge to the Fringe exhibition in 1997; this ongoing annual tradition has served as an integral part of Paul Dwyer’s rich, colourful history, as well as an important contribution to Oshawa’s downtown art community for the past 30 years. This network of artists, alumni, and educators continue to interact and inspire one another as they leave their marks and pursue their goals in creative and academic settings. This promotes growth, development, and a community, which provides a strong foundation, sense of identity and belonging for future artists to come.
